I don't think so. It's just fizzy grape juice isn't it?

kiki88 · 22/12/2013 14:44

that's what I was thinking. There's only so much water you can drink or soda water with lime lol

My MIL has stocked up on the Shloer, its gives me raging heartburn but I cant hurt her feelings by not drinking it!

I love shloer! Pomegranate juice mixed with ginger ale/ginger beer and lime wedges is also very nice if you aren't drinking and fancy a change.

PenguinsDontEatStollen · 22/12/2013 16:20

It's fizzy fruit juice, no, no caffeine.

fryingpantoface · 22/12/2013 19:20

Appletizer is also nice

You can get non alcoholic 'champagne' which isn't too bad

peeapod · 22/12/2013 20:42

dont forget gold topped coke is caffiene free..

kiki88 · 22/12/2013 20:55

does the caffeine free coke still contain that dodgy ingredient "aspartame" (think that's how you spell it) its found in a lot of sugar free or diet drinks

iv never had a problem with aspartamine? I didnt know there was an issue?

PenguinsDontEatStollen · 22/12/2013 22:00

As far as I know, yes.

I'm not convinced about the more out there claims about aspartame, such as the cancer ones (which studies have generally discounted). But I'm certainly on board with the idea of avoiding 'fake' products such as artificial sweeteners and the potential problems with appetite where they prime your body to expect sugar.

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 22/12/2013 23:17

FSA has concluded aspartame poses no risks
But agree with Penguins' point.
