Been feeling leaky all day so popes on a bad and rang hospital. They said keep it on all night and if still feel wet in the morning to ring my me to get checked out. That was at 11pm

Went to bed and as soon as got into bed dd went crazy and kept have sharp stabby pain in cervix and major backache like period pains it's been 4 hours and I've still got really bad back ache and tummy ache a lot of pressure down low as still feeling rather wet.
Dp is in bed as he has work so don't want to wake him for no reason so I'm bouncing on my ball which is helping the pain slightly
This is my first so I could by completely wrong.
But it certainly feels like something is happening

Oh I'm 39+3

Sorry if this make no sense. I want to try and not take painkillers until I really have too as I'm bouncing I feel more and more pressure

Yeh. Anyway... They made me wait 4 hours before they decided to actually check my waters ... 3 mw said they had gone. Then someone actually checked and they haven't it's just watery discharge
I'm so upset and disappointed and pissed off.
I was in so much pain last night I was convicted something was happening. I'm so used to pain that when it stops me sleeping I know something is up...
So my waters having gone
I'm back to square one

All I want to do is cry I'm so fed up of being pregnant.

Been watching in the background. So sorry things are not moving for you. I did cry when it was me a very long time ago, so you are doing really well. If you are still sore take some paracetamol. Use your hot shower on your back. Go to bed with your hot water bottle. I would have a huge glass of something alcohol related but I don't know your viewpoint on that. I hate drinking during pregnancy but you are probably sooo tired at the moment that you need to very kind to yourself. I hope you get some sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow. Hugs.

Poor you, it's so frustrating waiting for labour to get going - especially when it's your first & you just want to get on with it. Try to relax, enjoy your tin of Roses & get some sleep while you can!!

Naomilouise1992 · 18/12/2013 01:22

Oh so sorry they haven't gone!! Sounds like ur not far off tho?! Sex is apparently best to bring it on. I'm scared of not knowing what to expect.

Still got the awful back ache and low tummy ache. Think it's going to be a long process.... Mw at the hospital weren't very helpful - didn't help there were 3 different opinions.

But I'm seeing my community one tomorrow so in going to ask her to have a look and see if anything is going on. I'm hoping that I'm starting to dilate or something cos this is horrible. Feel like I'm in pain and not going anywhere.

And I'm so tired! All I want to do is sleep!

she'll be here soon. have you tried that raspberry leaf tea? my cousin also swore by having reflexology - apparently there is a special point on your foot that can trigger labour.

Stom91 · 18/12/2013 21:47

birdbrain21 · 23/12/2013 11:23

aww don't worry they have to come out eventually!! Totally sympathise I was a week and a half overdue when I had my dd last april and I hated every second of being overdue! I know everyone has probably told you this but it'll be worth the wait Wink in the mean time try and relax just chill out with a good dvd and some chocolate, the more relaxed you are the more likely something will happen stress is really not helpful for labour!

Hope we hear good news from you soon x

Stom91 · 23/12/2013 11:24

I think if I'm much more relaxed I'll be a heap on the floor lol.

1974rach · 23/12/2013 11:38

Awww she does want to meet youSmile

She's just comfy and cosy. She'll be the best Christmas present ever xx
