Sleepless nights HELP!!

Having a really hard time sleeping these past few weeks. I'm 29 weeks and when it comes to the point when I'm tired either: my little boy decides to practise his moves for a few hours (7 hours one night!), I get really bad back pain, I get really strange nightmares or the past couple days I've been violently sick after being put on iron supplements for slight anaemia. When I do eventually get to sleep I wake up what feels like a billion times to wee in the night and takes ages to get back to sleep. Any advice on how to help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

What are you doing for the back pain? A couple of paracetamol and a warm wheat pack should help ease it, or a warm bath before bed.
Try to take your iron tablets with food and drink, or space out the dose if possible. Cut the tablets in half and have them a few hours apart.
There's no cure for the crazy pregnancy dreams or the weeing I'm afraid! Don't be tempted to drink less as its really important to stay hydrated.
If you do have to get up keep the lights off, don't check your phone/gadgetry and try to relax once your back in bed.
Earlier nights or later mornings might help get that little bit extra sleep in, but try to embrace the waking up as good practice for when baby arrives!

Hi. I'm 32+4, so can relate. I woke a while ago w pins and needles and then my 2 yo woke me too. Re weeing- I've found drinking as much as possible before eg 8pm and then just drinking a small amout helps me get a better night's sleep.

I've also started to avoid TV/screens for about an hour before bed and that has helped w dreams (but am now on phone to keep me awake till ds settles!).

I second a wheat bag and paracetamol for back. And have you tried sleeping w a pillow between your legs and asking your mw for a belt to support your back (it's about 4 inches wide and is worn under clothes).
