My fiancé and I are currently TTC. I'm 24, he's 33.

Since I got my periods at 12, they've been regular as clockwork. But since June, they've been all over the place. 2 weeks late, sometimes early, only once on time since then.

My last period was on October 30th. Lasted about 3-4 days. Nothing since. I was due eight days ago but I've had no signs of a period. No cramps or anything, but a pregnancy test on Wednesday was negative. However, I've had quite a few "early pregnancy" signs - nausea (but no vomiting), sore boobs, sensitive to smells (esp. cooking and cigarette smoke) and constipation.

Should I wait and see if my period arrives and take another test in a week or so? I desperately want to be pregnant so I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me, especially as a test was negative.

TIA :)

Have you come of the people recently? This can so,e times affect some women's cycles.

I found that when TTC every month I was late/ had 'symptoms' I wasn't pg... the month I felt fine (apart from being overly sensitive) I was pg!!
Good luck, and have fun TTC Grin

Nope, haven't been on the pill since I was 19. Nothing specific happened in June either, but I was 2 weeks late for some reason.

Thanks lovelillies Grin

they could be 'chemical' pregnancies. as in your bodies not quite sure so its taking a little while longer to work out.. in my o so scientific language

I've just had a very similar experience with weird periods for a few months after a miscarriage and then no period since Sept. Negative preg tests in Oct and got a positive a couple of weeks ago. I think when you really want to get pregnant, sometimes it can actually make you more stressed than you realise which affects your periods - however, (as my GP told me and I now know!) you can still ovulate without periods and hence get pregant... hope all goes well for you!.
