I'm 33+4 and when I had a 32 week growth scan I was told I have too much fluid and have been booked in for scans at 34 and 36 weeks.

I have GD and I'm on 2 metformin a day but my levels are still high. I've started to cut out carbs and they are lowering so I'm going to carry on with that.

After my scan the consultant didn't seem very concerned about it but I'm not sure if she was trying not to make me panic :-(
She said its due to the GD and will she whats happening at the next scan.

I had GD with my 2nd pregnancy but not the extra fluid so I don't really know much about it. Any info would be great.

poshnosh are they planning on increasing your metformin or starting insulin to help you manage your levels? You can have up to 4 metformin a day.
I don't know anything about polyhydramnios but I doubt the consultant was just trying to reassure you. You are at the stage now where they would induce you if the baby was in danger so the fact that they are happy to leave you another two weeks (rather than admit you for monitoring) means this is not an urgent problem - just something that needs monitoring.
