Are you sure you do or could it just be pressure?

JamInMyWellies · 15/11/2013 16:42

SweetPea86 · 15/11/2013 17:05

I always find a big glass of fresh orange juice sorts me right out. !

Horrid feeling through Confused

Spaghettinetti · 15/11/2013 17:08

Leek and celery soup!

JamInMyWellies · 15/11/2013 17:20

pure orange juice helps me, good luck! Thanks

Julietee · 15/11/2013 18:09

Chicken broth. All the soup suggestions are good! I hope you get your poo. Godspeed, woman.

urtwistingmymelonman · 16/11/2013 06:52

for me prune juice worked but it is the most hideous thing ever.
if you can power through the heaving it is definitely worth it.

sybilfaulty · 16/11/2013 06:54

Hello Jammy Smile

I find a couple of Kiwis does the trick for me. A cup of coffee also can get things going - perhaps not the two together.

Hope you get some joy soon.

Wishfulmakeupping · 16/11/2013 06:55

A big cup of tea first thing otherwise its prunes for you I think

SarahJinx · 16/11/2013 06:56

Warm water, with brown sugar. Works every time, good luck....

ClearlyMoo · 16/11/2013 07:24

Prune juice. I'm only 15 weeks, but it's been my saviour the last month. Have a big glad of prune juice (mixing with apple juice OR (unbelievably) Ribena makes it more bearable. Do it. Do it now.

Indith · 16/11/2013 07:26

I used to steal ds1s fybogel.

magic stuff that fybogel.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 16/11/2013 07:28

Glycerine suppositories were the way to go for me.
I got really dehydrated when I was pregnant (living in the ME). I drank as much as I could but still suffered with occasional constipation.
Pharmacist recommended the up your bum things and boom. Poo was forthcoming.

ninjasquirrel · 16/11/2013 07:31

Lactulose is amazing stuff - available over the counter. I can't believe I only discovered it after pregnancy. In the short term, a cup of tea?

JamInMyWellies · 16/11/2013 08:09

Thanks all. Am going to buy fybrogel and lactulose see how I get on. Plus a vat of prep h to deal with the other issues.

Love the last few wks!

Another vote for Lactulose. Had gallons when I was pg.

SicknSpan · 16/11/2013 09:14

Lactulose is fab. Can take a couple of days to work though. I had to resort to a sandwich bagged finger and a tube of KY the other day!

SicknSpan · 16/11/2013 09:16

I thought I was quite inventive but told some good friends in a conspiratorial manner and they were horrified, where as I thought it was funny!

Rhibeetee · 16/11/2013 09:19

Glass of wine in the evening, cup of coffee in the morning!

I just did a 5 day stretch of not going and that worked for me :)

ViviDeBeauvoir · 16/11/2013 09:20

I always keep a carton of prune juice in the cupboard for emergencies like this!
Lots of sympathy - I remember this happening with all 3 of my pregnancies.

Thants · 16/11/2013 09:39

Strong, real coffee on an empty stomach.

emmac3616 · 16/11/2013 10:02

Prune juice - down a whole glass morning and night (or more if you can bear it) and it works MIRACLES and is better than taking lactulose or other medicine! It is disgusting though! Poor you - this has plagued me all pregnancy so I now probably account for a high % of UK sales of prune juice!!!
