Am I the only one that doesn't like the feel of the baby moving? An I know I know, it's shows the baby is healthy and well etc etc But it creeps me out Confused

I was thinking exactly the same thing earlier today. I don't find it creepy and don't mind the kicks but hate it when baby wriggles backwards or downwards- it makes me feel slightly nauseous!

It is a bit weird but you get used to it.

How far along are you?

I'm 18 weeks and been feeling fairly strong movements for the past week or so... I guess I will get used to it. Just wondered if I was the only one thinking this isn't 'amazing' etc

I'm 17 weeks and have felt fluttering but kicks yet. My friends have freaked me out by telling me when I'm heavier u can see baby's elbows and feet on your tummy. So surreal and looking forward to being kicked but like you will totally freak me out.

At first I loved feeling the baby move but found the actual sensation a bit cringey if that makes sense, but as time goes on you do get used to it and I love it now. Will miss it actually!

It's the one and only thing I love about being pregnant this time, lol! I do get how some would be creeped out by it, though. My dp is a little! Grin I don't love it as much when it hurts, though...

I didn't get any movements whatsoever due to an anterior placenta until 22 weeks, and because of that I didn't get the fluttery feeling, I went straight to full blown kicks which creeped me out a bit at first! You do get used to it though, and it can be nice and reassuring especially if you're having a rubbish day Smile
