By my calculations I should be 9 weeks pregnant now, but I'm not really having any symptoms yet and am panicking that I'm not actually pregnant. I'm sure with DC1 I had MS by now, and my boobs had grown.

What if I'm not pregnant?

No symptoms at all whatsoever for the whole of the first trimester. Try not to panic - we're the lucky ones!

(Holding happy, healthy four month old baby in my arms right now Smile)

I take it you've had a positive HPT? Apparently it's pretty unusual for anything to go wrong and you not know about it in the form or pain or bleeding, so that's a good start. Have you tested more recently? Still positive? Have you got a scan booked?

WooWooCaChoo · 27/10/2013 15:54

Yeah I had 2 strong positive tests a couple of weeks ago, do you think it's worth testing again?
I suppose it's good to not have any sickness but I just cant help but think I've imagined the whole thing! I've got the midwife on tuesday, do you think they would do another test for me if I asked?

Feel a bit reassured in that I've not had bleeding or pain, its just so different to my last pregnancy

You could do Smile. Hopefully it's positive, in which case you'll be reassured. If it's less positive, or negative, you'd have reason to request an early scan/etc to see what's going on.

I felt like thatboth times. You think you will get to the scan and feel like a right tit because there is nothing there! There will be though, just the waiting is awful. Good luck and congratulations

Have you missed 2 periods? That's a symptom, try not to worry!

Thanks everyone, Im a natural born worrier! Did another test this morning and its still a strong positive. Think Im just going to be thankful i haven't got horrendous MS!

Im 21 weeks and not had an ounce of ms, have felt tired but not massively and had a surge of hormones tgat caused soee breasts for few days. Apart from that i didnt really feel pregnant till my bump has just started popping and baby kickin away. This is dc3 and i was also very lucky to not have many early symptoms with dcs 1/2.
Just count yourself lucky you are one of the lucky few :-)

I'm 8 weeks and 5 days and I've had 2 days of sickness at around 6 weeks and nothing else. I've booked for a private scan because although I can give myself a talking to whilst I'm awake I keep having nightmares of going to my 12 week scan and finding nothing there. I've done much googling (naughty I know!) but it seems quite common for women to have no symptoms. Here's hoping I am one of the lucky ones with no MS!

Chocolatemolehill · 30/10/2013 16:00

I'm 7 weeks now. If all goes well it will be my first baby but I've been pregnant twice before (both ended in MC). In the previous pregnancies I had enlarged, sore boobs and felt very tired form very early on. This time - absolutely nothing. I got very stressed out about it and convinced myself that something went wrong and I'm no longer pregnant. But then I had a scan at 6w 4d and there was a heartbeat! I think it shows that all pregnancies, even for the same woman, are different and the lack of symptoms doesn't necessarily mean anything. Congratulations and good luck!

I had no pg symptoms at all with my dd's other than getting a bump. I understand your worry but later on in pg you will be glad you never had any Grin
