I did in the first trimester if I got hungry or nearly hungry, I found pretty much constant snacking was the only only way to keep the feeling at bay. I did start off well with carrot sticks and hummus, but then I discovered breakfast biscuits and it was all carb loading from then on!

Yes had it throughout first pregnancy with DD. Now pregnant with no. 2 and had it regularly to 24 weeks and ony get it sometimes now first thing in a morning if I haven't eaten. I'm 31 weeks now.

Weirdly a cup of coffee with lots of milk helped.

Throughout your whole pregnancy holy moly!

I'm at 11 weeks. Feel a bit useless with 3 year old DS. Although he will happily snuggle into me with a book etc. The smell of handwash made me wretch my first pregnancy, so haven't been that bad.. This is definitely my last pregnancy though.

I've just wrote a post then seen this I'm 15 weeks feeling fed up with sickness it's making me scared to go out any were. :(

smearedinfood · 21/10/2013 17:50

DP has to stay out a couple of nights this week and stay over for work. I'm dreading it as he's been doing most tea and bed time with DS. Just can't face cooking at the mo'.

Yeah at my worst point my DP had to work away for a week. Was the longest week of my life I ended up staying at my mums lol because I feel so alone and weak lol

This is my first and it has put me off having more. Unless women them selves have had it you do feel a bit alone. People I work with say really insenative things when all I want to do is cry lol

After last time horrid experience I decided to take it easier where possible which meant this time going to bed with my toddler and very rarely going out in an evening oh and not cooking. Even if I wasn't asleep (reading or mumsnet) etc at least I was resting. That was the only way I managed to function.
One tip - always have food in your bag - oatcakes, apple whatever you can stomach.

I've stopped working now on mat leave and feel better (though big and uncomfortable etc)
