How long after being told baby is fully engaged did you go into labour?

Hiya,

I will be 37 weeks pg tomorrow with my 3rd child.

Saw the midwife today and she seemed quite surprised that the baby is fully engaged. I cant remember being fully engaged this early with my other 2.

She also said that my tummy is nice and tight and hard and that baby could come any day now.

I was just wandering if anybody else had been told this and how long did they go after b4 going into labour?

Do you think it's still possible that I could go 3 weeks or more?

hello yes i'm getting in patient aswell it was my daughters birthday and she rely wanted her new baby to come on her birthday have been having some pains but thery amount to nothing also have had a bit more jelly stuff come away but it was yellowish this time just whish things would statr happening

hello pinkdolly i'm righting this on behalf of my daughter who writes in as libby mae just to let you know that she has had her baby this morning (11/7/06)at 20 past 6 am started having pains about 1/4 to 4 very strong straight away waters broke got to hospital at 20 to 5 got baby by 6 20 she is absolutly beutifull and mom and baby are doing fine hope you have got some news aswell seen as you haven't been on for a day good luck to you all hope you all have baby soon

thankyou for your message apronstrings i can't believe my self how quick it all was and that my little girl is here she is sooo adorable my little daughter is so proud to be a big sister hope you are ok pinkdolly i'm beginning to think you have had your baby aswell seen as youv'e not posted any messages recenetly hope everyone is ok

libby - I'm on the due in July antenatal thread and can confirm that Pinkdolly has had her little girl, called Jasmine, both doing fine. Think she has posted in Birth Announcements too.
