I've reached 14 weeks and really want to start doing some exercise as have realised how unfit I feel and the cellulite is increasing!!
I've always done ballet but stopped in July as we had IVF and I've just been really cautious since then. I could start that again but it's a term time class and I'd only get about 4 weeks now before it finishes for Christmas
I'd love to do a pregnancy yoga class but am struggling to find a suitable one near me and I'm quite open to swimming although I'm not a big swimmer normally
What is everyone else doing?
Thanks

Im doing as much walking as I can - so to school and back twice a day, into town etc. Im struggling to walk as fast as I usually do though, and notice that my feet ache 'sooner' than they normally might. Im not much of a swimmer so not doing any of that, I do have a preg workout dvd but cant say Ive used it much.... Blush When this baby comes Im going to get running again.

Hi!

I'm 12+3 and have always been an exercise bunny (weights, running, circuits etc). I naively thought I'd continue this into pregnancy but have had such bad MS.

I've bought 'pregnancy health yoga with tara lee' which a number of women have raved about, and also 'complete pregnancy fitness with erin o'brien' and 'suzanne bowen's lean and toned' which are supposed to be very good too and give you a proper workout.

Swimming is meant to be fab so will try and take that up too once I feel better.

Oh, and don't talk to me about cellulite Wink x

I’m nearly 23 weeks and have more or less kept up with all my usual gym classes – body pump, body attack, body combat but have modified them slightly so I don’t do too much high impact stuff etc. The only thing I’ve had to give up is spinning as I’ve been suffering from tailbone pain since about 7 weeks and sitting on an exercise bike just exacerbates the problem. Am going to start pilates and pregnancy yoga in the next couple of weeks too.

I think the key is to keep up with stuff you’ve always done rather than do anything drastic or new, eg I’ve never been one for running so I wouldn’t suddenly take it up now. I don't push myself to go to the gym if I don't feel up to it either - last week I did 5 classes but this week the cold weather has affected my joints so I've only done 2.

Don't do swimming as I'm Australian so hate indoor pools!!
