Hi all,

Just briefly - my fiancé has left me this week & I'm now facing motherhood alone. Needless to say I have extremely stressed & upset.

Last night I had some pains in my stomach, nothing too bad but enough to wake me, didn't think anything more of it until I went to the loo & there is some blood on the tissue, not a whole lot I admit, but still worried me.

What do you advise I do? Currently I am in bed trying to stay as calm as possible.

xx

Ring your labour ward - chances are everything is fine but better to be safe than sorry.

Call your labour ward or MW and get checked out. I am sure all is ok but better safe than sorry. Really sorry to hear about what you are going through. Flowers

I am also 28 weeks and had a small bleed last week. I would definitely go to hosptial just to get checked out. In my case, they weren't very concerned because the amount of blood was v small and I wasn't having contractions but they did more than one ultrasound, took bloods and had me on a fetal heart monitor. They also did a couple of cervical exams and gave me an anti d injection because i'm rhesus negative. I was feeling silly about making a fuss of nothing but they told me always to come in if there's any worry. They also wanted to see the blood but i'd thrown the tissue away.

It's definitely better to be checked over.

Second what everyone else has already said. Probably nothing but better to be careful and get checked over x

Sorry you're going through such a hard time.

It's always worth getting these things checked out. You're not wasting anyone's time, and they certainly won't see it like that. Hope all goes well Thanks
