Seriously. I walk near things and they fall over, or jump off tables to get away from the giant belly.

29+5 and I am fed up of having this beach ball up my top.

Anyone else feeling massive?

There is a pic of me on my profile if you want to laugh at the beached whale that I am Grin

I have a hands off the bump tshirt luna brought for me by DP after one of my many rants about people not leaving me the fuck alone. It doesn't work. People still touch me.

Today brought with it a new low. I couldn't get off the bed! I was like a tortoise on it's back. DP just laughed at me for ages before helping the selfish twat.

He has also forgotten to switch the switches for the tv and cooker/microwave on. They are both in places I cannot reach so I am facing a day of no tv and no food until he returns at 6pm.

Oh, ok, won't even bother with it than :-/

Is it easier to be huge in the winter..? K was born in August and I spent last month in cool bath. It was extremely hot summer. Now it will be Feb, any better?

WhisperMen · 11/10/2013 12:48

I think it is better to be big in winter. Least I'm not sweating loads. I was bad enough this summer when I was much smaller. My bump keeps me warm, like a little hot water bottle Grin

I have managed to knock over an expensive vase today in town. Luckily I didn't have to pay for it because I burst into tears and had a bit of a melt down on the poor shop assistant. I don't think she wanted me to go into labour in her shop, so I got quickly ushered out Grin

You look great ! I remember being sooooo big with all 3dc's that it was nigh on impossible to bend my leg and bring my foot close enough to slip my (huge) knickers over the end of my foot to pull em up - sexy or what ?!

WhisperMen · 11/10/2013 15:53

Thankyou singapore

Op I am back.... Acid bloody reflux... Like slowly expanding to the size of a beached whale isn't bad enough! Angry

WhisperMen · 12/10/2013 08:32

ugh. I hate acid reflux. there is no point to it at all.

LittlePeaPod · 12/10/2013 08:47

I know. It's awful....

milk · 12/10/2013 10:31

From 29 weeks with DS2, I looked 40 weeks pregnant so everyone kept coming up to me making bets that week the baby would pop out Angry or worse asking "how are the twins doing?" Angry

At 40 weeks I was humongous! At 40+2 out popped out a 8 pound, 6oz baby with a ridiculous amount of amniotic fluid Blush

WhisperMen · 12/10/2013 10:38

Since I took the photo on my profile, which was only last week I have gotten even bigger. My baggy tshirt I wear to bed is now too tight. I don't want to get any bigger.

OP posts:
PistachioTruffle · 12/10/2013 16:36

May I share a rant? 31+4 and rapidly running out of clothes - I have 2 pairs of almost identical bottoms and 3 tops on rotation and I am heartily sick of looking at myself in them. I would love to buy some more stuff but with only 8 weeks to go and a tight budget I really don't feel I can justify it. Perhaps I'll make a bonfire with them after the birth! I came to the realisation that I probably won't get into my usual clothes afterwards either due to a combination of weight gain or unsuitability for breast feeding, and just cried!

I feel enormous too, I'm only 5ft tall with a short body so I just can't imagine getting any bigger, the thought of another 8 or 10 weeks of growth is enough to incite more tears!

WhisperMen · 12/10/2013 17:47

oh gosh I have no clothes either pistachio I have one pair of jeans and two pairs of leggings and 4 tops that rotate. I did have two dresses but hate the way they look on me now I'm a whale.

mycatlikestwiglets · 12/10/2013 22:43

Urgh, I'm so with you on the clothes thing. I keep thinking about all the lovely things I can't wear (and probably won't be able to for ages due to bf) and it makes the hatred of my maternity "wardrobe" even worse. Now that I'm on mat leave my clothing options really are dire - I managed to look pretty put together for work but have hardly anything suitable for casual wear Sad

MummyPig24 · 13/10/2013 09:21

Oh hello everyone. I am only 18 weeks but as this is dc3 I am expanding rapidly. Twice last week I was mistaken for being "at least 20 weeks". I've been in maternity clothes for 3 weeks but since then my bump has really popped out and I keep getting stuck. I think I can turn sideways and squeeze through but I am obviously now bigger if I turn sideways!

Last time my bump seemed to spread around a bit more but this time it's all out the front. Sickness has mostly passed but now the heartburn is setting in. I really hate being pregnant and I'm dreading the next 22 weeks or possibly a bit more. And I'm terrified I'm going to have an enormous baby!

flowersfortea · 13/10/2013 16:12

26/40 and the 'innie' is no longer. DH has returned from a week away only to point and laugh at the new 'outie' popping out when I sneeze or laugh!

sophe29 · 13/10/2013 16:43

Hi
Can I join in and moan?

Im 28+2 with number 3. I have SPD as well as round ligament pain. Im supposed to do exercise for one and rest for the other. My job involves standing up and walking down a corridor to call people into my room every 10 minutes. Each time I stand up my hips and pelvis have to click into place before I can start waddling. At that point my round ligament twangs and induces a braxton-hicks contraction causing me to have to bend over. I waddle down the corridor and by the time I get to the waiting room I am almost up right and can hide the pain, but it constantly looks like Im about to wee myself on the journey to the waiting room. Blush

I also have horrible heartburn and baby who seems to delight in randomly STAMPING on my cervix. I swear one day he is going to do this and a leg is going to pop through.

I feel massive and all my maternity clothes are feeling really tight around the knickerline or are so baggy that they keep falling down. Taking my bra off at the end of the day (well - sometimes earlier tbh) is probably the best feeling EVER.

I am also doing the pillow dance at night. My DH hasnt been able to even kiss me due to the fortress of pillows that I have to surround myself with each night.

On the plus side, I now do look properly pregnant rather than the oddly fat look I have been sporting for the past 10 weeks. My fat has slowly been pushed up so I did look like I had a double rack of boobs at one point. Thankfully that stage has now passed.

Rant over. I shall go back to lurking now!

PicklePants · 14/10/2013 13:48

I had to go to a posh do (don't even get me started on the nightmare of finding something to wear that they don't sell in Millets), which involved wearing sandals and in preparation I had to do the following:

shave legs
clip toenails
file disgusting hoof-like appendages that have not had any attention since the last warm day
paint toenails

I swear, it took hours and I had to have a lie down after each stage.

On the bright side, so far my belly button has stayed in. I live in fear of it popping out - I have an irrational fear of outies Sad

WhisperMen · 14/10/2013 14:30

I can no longer clip my toenails or shave my legs. Bending down just causes huge waves of acid to run from my stomach so it's become DP's job Grin

PicklePants · 14/10/2013 17:45

My 2 year old DS would have done a better job than DH so I took the plunge. Felt quite unwell afterwards though. The worst thing is, I don't think the bride and groom even noticed! I mean, how self-absorbed can you get?! Grin

WhisperMen · 14/10/2013 18:38

bastards. I would have walked around asking people to feel my smooth leg. Mind you, I do that to DP anyway. It's exciting when you have lovely smooth legs.

He didn't do an amazing job to be honest, but I never get my legs out anyway Grin

OP posts:
PicklePants · 14/10/2013 20:06

Oh I love a smooth leg. You're right, I should've made more of an effort to get those pasty white, slightly swollen babies noticed! Oh well, missed the boat now.

Grin
ChocChaffinch · 14/10/2013 20:07

haha I'm almost 16 weeks and bending over is a MAJOR decision due to very fickle spine and zappy hips Grin

bump is 50% bigger by the end of the day - full of gas I reckon

ChocChaffinch · 14/10/2013 20:21

fuckwittery am laughing at your posts - and whole thread - is ace
this pg is my 3rd and I have a 'useful' dd age 7 it is tempting to keep her at home to help Wink

WhisperMen · 14/10/2013 20:29

Why does the floor have to be such a long way away. I'm only little. not even 5ft, but the floor is just too far to reach now.
