When are the flu jabs being given out and when do pregnant women get the whopping cough from?

Flu jabs depend on your surgery I think and when they get availability. I'm asthmatic and have already had notification from my GP that I can have the job now if I want it.

I've had the WC jab this week (tied into my 28 week midwife appt) - this was organised by my midwife at the 24 weeks appointment. :)

My next midwife appt is in 10 days or so, would it be best for me to mention it then? I don't want to leave it too late to get the vaccines. Can they be done at the same time?

my mw told me to call my gp surgery.. im booked in to have them both done on tuesday at the gp surgery.

My midwife mentioned WC vaccine at my booking in and it was never mentioned again. I heard an ad on the radio saying pg women should get it ideally between 28-32 weeks so I called my gp and arranged it myself. I had it last week at 30 wks and the nurse who done it booked me in for a flu jab...getting that next wk.

I had them done at the same time at 30 weeks. Flu vaccine should be available now at most surgeries. I went only for the whooping cough vaccine but the nurse just asked me if I wanted the flu jab there and then, saved me making another appointment.
