I even look forward to baby coming as am sure will manage more sleep then!!

Any ideas??

Am 33 weeks.

Nice to know I am not alone. I was smug as hell until last week, hit 32 weeks and now never sleep for more than three hours. Can't believe I will be at school in two hours and have 70 three and four year olds in with me in four hours.... Arghhhhh!

I have no tips, when I wake up I read my book or come on mumsnet - try not to get stressed about being awake.

PistachioTruffle my friend lent me the cd from a yoga group she went to. I've looked online and I don't think its available to buy :-(
The lady who does the classes is called Lynda Hills yogasense.co.uk perhaps if you contacted her, you could buy one direct? I really do recommend it.
Sleep deprivation sucks and I hope all you ladies get as much rest as possible while you can :-) xxx

Various things which have been helping me (although not always successful) are hypnobirthing cd - the one i have is "colour and calmness" which you can get with the Katharine graves book, warm bath or shower before bed, reading a book instead of watching tv just before bed or when I wake in the night, having a precautionary dose of gaviscon before going to bed even if I don't have heartburn at that point, trying to drink lots of fluids in the morning and less in late afternoon and evening to minimise night time toilet visits, spraying some sleep mist on my pillow- I have been using cussons mum and me one and it seems to help d h too. Finally, the most effective way of improving my sleep is to sleep in a different room to d h! Since having d c 1 I am a really light sleeper and d h is so fidgety that even if I don't remember waking in the night I still feel exhausted in the morning. I hope some of these are helpful.

Can I join the no sleep club?

I usually toss and turn all night because my hips ache after an hour of lying on them and then I need the loo. Usually end up getting up at around 5am because I am just too uncomfortable lying down. Though last night was the worst sleep I've had yet. Had the usual tossing and turning and loo trips, but at 2am when I woke up I could not get back to sleep at all. I ended up getting up and writing a list of every baby item we now own. I am now so exhausted but I can't drift off for a nap either. Got a long walk up hill to the health centre and back again later which isn't going to be fun seeing as standing up for the length of time needed to make tea makes me want to sit down. Ahh the joys of pregnancy. only 11 weeks to go.

I have booked a reflexologist to come to my house tomorrow. I am able to claim back the money from a health thing I pay into and if it works I will have a few sessions to see if she can get me sleeping again.

She said she can't promise to 'cure' me, but will see what she can do. I am willing to try anything.

Last night I had my one night in a trillion that went well. I slept a total of five hours between loo visits and awake times, which is about normal, but I am sure I was properly unconscious when I was asleep as I feel a little less tired than usual. Which in the grand scheme of things is still not great, but much better than normal!
