I'm nearly 24 weeks and in the beginning stages I did have to go up a bra size and all has been fine. Think boobs have just started to grow again, bra's still fit but I don't know how long for...did u get measured up properly, thinking of going to mother care and not sure if I should be sleeping in a bra now as well for extra support?? Xx

Yes I did as the underwires of my bras had started to dig in.
Went to Bravissimo though as have large boobs. Bought a couple then bought some more online once I knew my size.
Now 38 weeks and going back to get measured for some nursing bras.
I am a 34F and haven't found I need to sleep in a bra yet but probably will need too when I am breast feeding.

Thanx for commenting, it was difficult finding bra's when I wasn't pregnant, let alone when I am..every shop I'm a different size x

I got measured the other day and the lady said that after around 16-20 weeks your boobs don't get bigger (until the end when the milk comes) but your back size grows. So you might find those bra strap extenders work? Worth a try!

I am large and got measured at 9 weeks when I needed to get out of underwires and measured at 28 weeks when cups had shrunk but back had grown! Have bigger nursing bras ready to go from last time for when milk arrives. Don't underestimate the discomfort an ill fitting bra can cause!

When my usual bras became uncomfortable injustice went to m&s and tried loads of non-wired ones on until I found a couple that I was happy with that fitted then on the tightest setting. As my bump expanded I was able to loosen. I then was properly fitted for nursing bras at bravissimo at 38 weeks.

I haven't needed to wear one for sleep even though I'm currently a 34h. Towards the end of pregnancy though I got one of those stretchy crop top bra things that are supposed to adapt to any size for a little extra support.

If you do get measured I'd go somewhere that knows what they're doing like bravissimo or John Lewis, not m&s and I doubt mothercare would either.

I'd recommend bravissimo too, mothercare have a very small size range they squash everyone in to, been badly fitted there several times now!

Yes - get measured properly. Bravissimo is great, especially if you're not teeny tiny. Debenhams also get good reviews.

I sleep in a bravado nursing crop top type bra. Really comfy and will be good for nursing in later too.
