I'm a regular MNetter but have been quite open about 'me' under my usual posting name and wouldn't be surprised if a few RL people had guessed who I am.

For that reason I have namechanged for this!!

My periods are as regular as clockwork usually, I have a 28 day cycle and can set my watch by my periods and their (heavy) flow (TMI sorry Blush). Last month I had a very light period after having UP sex with DP a couple of times in the weeks before - we are not actively trying to conceive but are working on a 'if it happens it happens' type of basis. My first thought was uh oh here we go Grin!!! But I POAS and it was negative. Heavier flow returned for the very last day and so I put it down to a very odd period - I have had them occasionally over the years.

This month.... I am now 3 days late, 4 tomorrow. I've never been more than a day late. I have once again dutifully POAS and still negative.

I have symptoms, feeling nauseous, sore boobs very tired

BUT

I am massively stressed at work, (but thats not unusual) and i've recently started an intensive exercise programme.

Am I having some kind of hysterical pregnancy which is just caused by stress and tiredness or could the blimmin pee sticks be wrong twice?

Stress can do that! Were your sticks all within their use by date?
poas first thing in the morning when your wee is more concentrate.

Sore boobs/tiredness hmmmm you could well be.

Have you tried a first response test? Good luck!

yes sticks were newish but cheapo ones from Morrisons.

No not done in the morning... in the evening on both occasions does that make a huge amount of difference... especially if I am two months gone surely it should be picking it up by now?

The thing is - the expensive tests are all in sealed boxes that you have to get someone to take off for you. I've been doing the whole 'sneaking through the self checkout with them hidden under a newspaper thing until furtively scanning them and chucking them in the bag' thing until now.

The price of the test makes no difference, they all do the same thing.
You could be only 6 weeks its still best to do one with your first wee of the day.
