I've been so tired over the last few day I could cry.

But the strange thing is I'm not really yawning, I just feel utterly exhausted.
I've even been pulling a breakfast stool to the sink so that I can wash up sitting down!!

No appts available at GP's today or tomorrow so MN is the next best thing.

oh dear DG, I've been feeling like sh*t so far in this pg and hoping it would get better. They've increased my thyroid dosage once already.

Lady TH, I think the tiredness in the first trimester just goes with the territory unfortunately. I am 6 weeks pregnant and feeling absolutely exhausted all the time, but as you say no yawning like normal tiredness, just general fatigue at all times of day.

I had the same exhaustion last time, but had temporarily forgotten it - then when this tiredness struck I thought "Oh yes, I remember this feeling". I've been told childbirth is similar.

LTH, I am now 14 weeks and falling asleep all over the place. Fell asleep at work the other day, and have just fallen asleep for 3 hours today after going to get ready to go out! Day out was cancelled! And I don't have any little ones to look after. I am on due Dec and everyone on there is still complaining of tiredness, and some of them are much further on than me. So I wouldn't worry, I'm sure your blood tests will be back in a few days anyway.

Good luck with the pg.

Hia, Im 18 weeks and exhausted like I can't even describe. Its like my whole body - every tiny muscle gives up on me and I feel ill if I refuse to stop sit and either lie still or sleep. I was ill before I fell pregnant -doctors said it was anxiety I suspected some sort of fatigue issue and now Im pregnant all the GP says is 'your pregnant what do you expect'. I am very scared I will give birth and still feel like this and no one seems to be taking me seriously. I have to take time off work often as I need to rest. Previously I was hyper active and a fitness and dance teacher so this is killing me!
