Sad Angry

Sorry if tmi but I've really had enough of this now! Have been suffering with it for over a week solid now. I can't sit or lie down comfortably any more. I can't get to sleep because of the pain. Have tried the pillow between the knees and a warm bath and everything else I can think of.

Ordinary paracetamol doesn't touch it. It's starting to make me feel sick - like with dental pain. Sad

Anyone else?

Sorry if you've already tried/got this but do you have a support? MW or physio can give you a crappy NHS one, but I was recommended a Serola one by another MNer (£30 ish from amazon) and found it's helped a lot wearing throug the day.
Also have to really be careful with how you sit walk and get up/down in/out etc - Knees together and hold your pelvic floor. What I have done in the day dictates the pain I get at night I find - so long day walking or carrying DS (2.5) etc means more pain at night.

A colleague who is at 32 weeks is on codeine for hers so may be worth asking your Mw or even GP about different pain relief options

Other option, thoug ££ is to go see a pregnancy trained chiropractor - I am really considering this as it's getting hard for me to walk (26 weeks) and I'm waking in the night too

It's definitely PGP/SPD I'm 29 weeks and mine started about 14 weeks I first noticed it while getting dressed really hurt to lift my leg, it's a lot worse now and I had to go to my go this week for a referral to physio, I really hope this works because I can't sleep either and haven't for weeks, I know how you feel :( it's horrid I think the sooner you can see a physio the better. X

Hi thanks for the replies! I'm 35+1 and have been experiencing this for about 6-8 weeks - my midwife nor my obstetrician were bothered either lands.

I took some paracetamol and codeine tablets in the end which I was prescribed at 19 weeks due to appendicectomy which took the edge off so I could at least fall asleep.

Chocolate - Have done a lot today and yesterday as was my last day at work today so lots of preparations etc which might explain why it's been worse.
