Can't stop crying. Is this normal?

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and very happy about it. In fact, DH and I had some minor fertility treatment to get pregnant so it's not like it was a surprise. However, I woke up this morning in tears and have been crying ever since. My hips hurt at night, which means I get a crappy nights sleep, I'm so constipated I look twice as pregnant as I am and I am totally exhausted. I've ended up taking the day off work as between the crying and the exhaustion I'm in no fit state. Now I feel terrible for missing work! I thought I was supposed to be feeling good by the second trimester. Anyone else experienced this?

Oh you poor thing. I cried in the post office when I was 15 weeks pregnant. Blush It was over something so minor, (I think they told me I should come in before 5pm with a special delivery.) Everyone stared. I was quite emotional for the rest of the pregnancy but that was the irrational peak! Don't feel guilty about staying off work. Pillow between your legs to help the hips? Congratulations btw. Smile

Yes, I cried watching re-runs of the great British bake off when I was about 9 weeks. I was in bed with a sinus infection and felt like shit and very sorry for myself, so i sat and cried through a whole episode (i think it was a Final) It's normal!

Yes, I cried whilst making cupcakes yesterday because I was suddenly struck with the thought there might not be a kitty heaven. Hormones make you crazy. Hope you feel better soon and learn to have a giggle at some of your crazier meltdowns! Grin Thanks
