Hi all, I'm 34 weeks and baby has been lying diagonally (head down to the left, bum up to the right) for a couple of months. I decided to have a read up about this and turns out it could result in caesarean, really don't want that! Can anyone tell me any experiences of this please good and bad, I just want to know what to expect.

Thanks in advance! x

Hi so thing is, there is still time for baby to turn I'm 34 weeks baby was oblique for last month but has now turned. It happened when I was walking. There are things you can
Do like crawling around on all 4s and wiggling your bum. Look up spinning babies..... They may offer you the doctor spinning it but I was never going to go for that heard it was very painful and uncomfortable and It dosent always work. If baby dosent turn yes you'll have to have a Caesarian

My baby was breech and turned successfully by consultant at 38 weeks. Baby was monitored before, during and after and was fine throughout. It was uncomfortable briefly but not painful - if that helps!

Thank you, I'll wiggle my bum and give my floors a good scrub on hands and knees and keep my fingers crossed it turns! I want to go skiing at Christmas so caesarean would really scupper that plan! I had such a good 1st birth too I was hoping for the same again! x
