Wondering what u would all do in my situation? Baby is normally very active but yesterday barely kicked at all and I havent felt anything today :(

dont usually like calling the hospital as they kind of just brush me off most of the time and say 'oh its normal' .. havent had reduced movements before today/yesterday. First baby x

I would still go in for monitoring xx

I meant to say that too, personally I've been up to be monitored twice already (26+4) for reduced movement. I was still feeling him move but nowhere near as much as is usual for him. Please go up.

At that stage I found she could still move to an positron where feeling was difficult but I would always get checked...I even went the other way when she'd been jumping like crazy for nine hours and I started to get worried! They've seen it all and should be pleased to help!

I had this Friday and Saturday (I am 27 weeks) and I rang my midwife and they said that I wasn't eating enough so baby's blood sugars would be low. I thought I had eaten plenty. So I had something to eat and lay on my left hand side for an hour counting movements. When I rang back with the number they said its fine and carry on as normal. Since then she hasn't stopped moving!! Hope it is the same for you xxx

Pleased to hear she's fine xx

BunInMyOven93 · 28/08/2013 17:50

Went in today to be checked and baby is fine. Shes turned over so is kicking my placenta at the back so i cant feel. Little madam!

good job i went in though, they found a water infection and raised blood pressure. And also got prescribed laxatives and antibiotics. So suppose it wasnt a.wasted trip :) x

That's good (on both counts -- rotating baby and early diagnosis). Always better safe than sorry.

Ah what a relief Grin
