Worried about letter from GP surgery

Should be 9+5 today but worried everything has gone wrong. Seem to have lost all pregnancy symptoms today (nausea but ravenous, headaches). Have also had letter in post from GP saying they need to repeat my booking-in urine test to 'check something'. Have felt slightly flu-ey (slightly raised temp and shivery, not enough to register on thermometer) for the last couple of weeks, now worrying this signifies an infection that has caused a MMC.

Realise I may be panicking unnecessarily but I'm also struggling with moderately severe depression so any perspective on this would be helpful.

Hi - sorry to hear you're having a rough time. Symptoms can come and go in early stages (I remember this happening to me) and then come back a couple of days later so you may just be having a better day. I also remember feeling hot/cold at times but ot was just part of everything that was going on.

With the urine sample it could be something very straightforward especially as they wrote to you and didn't phone. I'm sure if they thought it was serious they would ring you as it would be much quicker. Do ask when you take the sample so you know for your own piece of mind.

Hope you feel better soon - I remember feeling hideous during the first 12 weeks plus I worried constantly that it had/would all go wrong but I'm 25 weeks now and all is good.

Have you got a date for your 12 week scan? X

Thanks for replying - I'm having a private scan next Fri so should know then at latest. I'll certainly ask what the issue was when I go in for the repeat sample, it's just worrying to receive such an uninformative letter especially at the weekend!

Hi, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If they were concerned they would call and insist immediate action.
I have had a string of water infections and have had to repeat samples a few times due to 'contamination'???
Not sure what I did to contaminate them but equally I'm to embarrassed to hear the answer...
Also if they get a low reading of something they may want to re-test to see if its increasing or remaining the same. Pregnancy is a delightful time. Xx
