Hello mummies. When exactly does the bby start kicking? I dnt feel anything at all only see a growing tummy I'm 17weeks but there re no kicks jus silent, tho sometimes I feel this pain if I walk too much or if I'm too thirsty. Is my baby now getting hungry? Can he/she hear voices now? Wen I'm hungry ma stomach makes this roar like grrrrrrrrhhhhh. Could it be e baby making noises coz they feel the hunger too? Does any one know lol. These free clinics I go to dnt hv tym to explain these thngs and I will start gng to a private doctor wen I cn now see e sex thts were I cn get most answers I guess but for now can anyone tell me.

Will he/she be very hungry soon after delivery? I mean won't I still be in pain to breast feed? How soon am I supposed to breast feed after delivery and how soon after delivery can I get a DNA test? Can i get it as soon as the following day?

I don't really understand how the OP can have discovered mumsnet but not thought to google 'what to expect during pregnancy'? Some of your questions were, frankly, ridiculous. Have you no female relatives or friends to ask?

Also I couldn't really understand what you were saying, it did sound like a wind-up post.

islingtongirl · 14/08/2013 11:41

Well Jeremy Kyle will do DNA tests for you....I assume that's what Pinky meant! You know you can also speak to your midwife with these questions OP?

BitBewildered · 14/08/2013 18:56

The OP was a genuine poster. This thread had some fucking embarrassingly nasty posts.

Rosenip · 19/08/2013 12:48

Do you know the OP?

BinarySolo · 19/08/2013 14:28

I assumed this thread was a joke. The posting style has all the elements that irritate the majority of mn plus the DNA comment at the end was a rather random addition. I can well understand the reactions of some of the other posters. Seems odd also that when criticised on posting style the op was able to write normally and coherently.

DaleyBump · 19/08/2013 14:39

Agree with Binary.

MonstersDontCry · 19/08/2013 15:25

I assumed it was a joke too. If the the op was genuine then I apologise for my previous post.

BitBewildered · 19/08/2013 15:47

Rosenip no, I don't know the OP. When she came back saying she was sorry for offending us, and seeming so sad I did a search.

I agree her posting style didn't do her any favours, and I know it was posted on a particularly troll-infested day, but the replies weren't warranted IMO. One of the reasons I love MN is because of the support and kindness people generally show.

wehavearaspberry · 19/08/2013 15:58

Nothing wrong with asking advice. If people are afraid to ask for advice then services such as this would wither and die. Bit sad that people have enought time to slate others for asking questions. Don't bother answering if you've got nothing constructive to say. Am personally not a fan of text speak, but recognise that it is a part of modern culture and modern English is adapting to accomodate it. Usually it's understandable if you take a bit of time to read it.

MicroMouse · 19/08/2013 16:03

Ugh MN at its worst.

I really hope she hasn't been scared off.

BrianTheMole · 19/08/2013 16:06

Yep, this really is mn at its worst. Surely the default is that someone is genuine unless mn hq decide otherwise. Completely unjustified bullying. Hope you're ok op.
