I am getting a bit sick of being told different things tbh... one minute I must be induced as it's too risky to go into labour naturally, the next it doesn't matter if I go into labour naturally... (I am on blood thinners and this is baby no.7, so am at higher risk of PPH if I go into labour naturally) I am under two different teams and they can't seem to sort out what the course of action will be. It's not helped as I just don't like the obstetrician I usually see, although she isn't my consultant. I just don't feel she takes me seriously or listens to me.
I had a growth scan today and was told the baby was 'very big' and approx. 6lb 3oz, which would mean the baby has gained 3lbs in the last 3 weeks. Obviously slightly concerning as I am only 31 weeks... However, by putting the measurements into an online weight calculator it gives an estimated weight of 4lb 6oz, which seems much more realistic, so goodness knows...
Lastly, my scan showed baby is cephalic. In fact, the sonographer struggled to measure the head and said it was right down in my cervix and that 'you'd struggle to get anything between the head and cervix'. The midwife said she though baby was transverse (she has said he was oblique breech at last two appointments) and then asked what the scan has said re positioning. I told her cephalic and she has written in my notes 'cephalic, free', so seems to have just guessed from what I said!
Sorry, this is all very boring, but it's so frustrating!!!
