Just found out im having another baby, very very early days but my DH will only be 18 months old (approx) - it probably doesnt sound difficut to some but to me all i can think of is how am i going to cope plus im a childminder!! Any tips or any good/bad experiences for having small age gap... Thanks.

If it makes you feel any better DD wasn't walking when DS was born, I seriosly recomend the phil and teds buggy. As for bedrooms put them in together, we had the space but found they slept better this way. That should help put off some of the cost and you will have lots of what you need from first time round.

I have 18 months between DD1 and DD2 (who are 23 months and 5 months now) it's been a bit of a rough ride (I have no help from friends or family) the worst thing is just getting them both out, popping out for a pint of milk is an excursion!

It's been great though DD1 loves her baby sister is occasionally a bit too rough with her but she generally adores her and loves having her dollies as her babies.

It is hard going at times but I wouldn't change it for the world. I would love a similar gap to number 3 but will let my head rule that one!

There's 15 months with my two and ds was in hip plaster from when I was 7m pg till dd was 8 weeks old. It was really hard work (and still can be - they are 4 and 2.9 now), but they play together all the time and generally get on really well. DS is starting school in september and I think dd will be lost without him!

Thanks All,
