I would be exactly 2months away from due date...... Is it ok to fly short haul? Would I enjoy it?

It depends on the airline. You can find this on their websites. You may need a fit to fly letter of your GP. However, it is up to the check in staff whether you can fly! My friend found this out the hard way, she got a fit to fly letter, was within their guidelines, yet because she was big the airline wouldn't let her fly on the day. She was not entitled to a refund. Just giving you a heads up.
I would have a stay-cation, less hassle and can always come home if needs be.

I would not fly in 3 trimester, no. Uncomfortable as hell it would be. I flew long haul at the end of my second trimester and just about made it back as I started 7th month. It was horrible.
Airlines also have rules about it as previous poster suggests. Drive around and go local?? No? You can stop and go??

I flew out short haul at 28 weeks, back at 30 weeks with a fit to fly letter from my Dr. No prob whatsoever. I think you can fly short haul up to 34 weeks (poss 36 weeks?) with an uncomplicated pregnancy. I wore compression socks and walked about a bit. I know many people who've flown short haul in the earlier weeks of the 3rd trimester. Completely up to you though and you will need a letter from your Dr just as a precaution for the airline x

I'd vote for a staycation or if it's short haul, can you get there by train instead? You can get good deals for travelling to various places on the other side of the Channel if you book far enough in advance, though it's not as cheap as flying (which is ridiculous). I'm 32 weeks and about to do a very long train journey myself, the long-distance trains are really comfy and I feel much more confident about it than flying - plus there's (hopefully!!) no risk of being told I can't get on board Grin

Went on hols at 30 wks, we flew to Barcelona, train across France then flew back from Marseille when I was 32 wks. It was lovely and very relaxing, but I was of course uncomfortable. However I would have been uncomfortable at home too, always nicer to be uncomfortable sitting by a pool with nice tapas on hand. :)
