As title says I am 32 weeks pregnant with DC3 and have a very crampy tummy today I am also getting more Braxton Hicks than normal. Lost some mucus last night and today have been pooing lots (sorry for way TMI).

Midwife checked me on Monday as was crampy and getting little movement and said babies head is well down.

Am I working myself into a tizz or should I be concerned?

I think you need to go in and get properly checked out, ring the labour ward. The cramps wouldn't concern me but the mucus would as well as less movement.

Hope it is all nothing to be worried about though.

Yes I agree. Go in and get seen. Hope all is well.

Thanks ladies, called in and today went in for a trace on baby. As movements still very little (none when I was being monitored) I have a scan on Monday to check all ok. Cramping is coming from pelvis as babies head is right down

Hi jelly,

I'm exactly the same!! 32+2 and bad Braxton hicks and the feeling that baby trying to burrow its way out! Sorry if that sounds weird but it's like heavy pressure in my lower pelvis and so far each mw appointment has confirmed baby is head down.
So similarly I'm wondering if there is any need for concern.
What was your mucus like? X

Nelly

Mucus can only be described as being like snotters (sorry if a bit graphic) wasn't my plug but had same discharge with dc2 a few days before I had him. MW today said increase in discharge at this stage to be expected.

I get the baby borrowing sensation completely, after a walk along beach this afternoon to clear head it feels like baby could drop out. Isn't pregnancy just delightful

Thanks for that!
It's reassuring to know you have a borrowing baby too! Yesterday I was begging my family to stop laughing and joking as with each belly laugh it felt like the baby was going to fall out! Shock
I knew it wasn't likely to happen but the sensation was so weird!
Is it a bit early for this? Does it mean baby wants to get out or just exploring? Xx

I'm glad this post is here. I've been experiencing this sensation for the last couple of days (I'm only 30+3) but its definitely a burrowing sensation like she's trying to get out!!!

And I've had the cramping I've often heard referred to as "stabby fanjo" - its awful! Sad

However I have a scan on Weds due to being diagnosed with GD and haven't had decreased movements or anything so not too worried (yet)!

I'm terrified of going into labour early (not that my MW thinks this is a likely possibility at this time) I've just become a worrier since being PG!!

Nellysgirl · 11/08/2013 11:09

Ahh well at least this isn't uncommon, a few of us are experiencing it.
Haha to stabby fanjo!!! Sounds funny but before 3 days ago I'd have had no idea what that was. Now I don't need any explanation. I think you know when you have had it....
