Travel insurance ... including the bump?

I'm planning a trip to see relatives shortly before I go back to work, so it will include bump who'll then be around 5-6 months. It's not far (channel Islands) but I do want cancellation cover, medical etc.
I'm trying to find travel insurance, but am unsure how to include a baby who's not yet born. Has anyone been there before?

I work in the industry. All you do is notify the insuer you are pregant when getting a quote/traveling and if you are within thei except able time limits they will cover you and bump. Any of the travel insurers will look at it.

IME most policies don't cover you for pregnancy-related claims in the third trimester - I have two policies, one covered me to 28 weeks, the other to 32.

Sniker that's correct. Every insurer will have time limits. Also most dont cover prior to 12 week scan. It's vital to speak to insurer before traveling.

sorry, I've confused you all (I know what I meant) I'll be travelling with a 5-6 month old baby, who is currently a bump.
It's not possible to put a future date of birth into the insurance websites!

Ahhh YBR. Not sure about the website question but you can speak to them to cover your baby...

I've got a family policy - it had child 1 on it already and I added child 2's name once he was born. Used it to fly with him when he was 12 weeks old or so. It was more tricky getting him to look at the camera for his passport photo.
