Bleeding, should I worry?

I've had brown blood when I wipe since yesterday - am I right in thinking that brown blood is nothing to worry about? I'm 11 weeks. I keep pushing it to the back of my mind, but any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you it makes me feel better to have shared it and hear that it is old blood. I'll see how I go and if I'm still getting it come Monday I'll give my MW a call.

Bleeding early on I fairly common, but I'd speak to a midwife anyway, just in case. They won't mind at all.

I had bleeding and cramps at six weeks and they asked me to go in for a scan to be on the safe side - all was fine with baby (now 33+1!) and it's a mystery as to what the bleeding was, but I felt reassured :).

Brown blood is usually ok but if you go to a and e or early pregnancy unit they'll give you a scan to check. If anything has gone wrong it's better to know sooner rather than later. Best of luck.

As other posters said, brown blood is old blood. The main worry is if you're bleeding fresh, red blood.

Are you sure it's blood and not discharge? I sometimes get discharge that's discoloured and gives a beige/brown appearance when I wipe.
If you go to A&E they will refer you to the EPU or I think you might be able to call them directly depending on how your hospital works.
Good luck and try not to worry too much - although I know it's hard when it's your baby. Flowers x
