Can you remove a skin tag with verucca stuff?

I've got a really really annoying skin tag on the inside of my upper arm that rubs and hurts like crazy if I wear any sort of short sleeves or sleeveless top.
Unfortunately it's too flat for tying string round... do you think bazzuca for veruccas would kill it???

It says not to on the packaging (I'm pretty gung-ho about that stuff, but I wouldn't if I were you). You can get them treated with a laser, although that might be a bit pricey, but if it rubs and hurts you might get it done on NHS?

I don't think I would use that approach!

Advice here

damn. it really bloody hurts... drives me INSANE.. i think i got it from running long distances in a basic vest top with a seam before i disovered proper soft and seamless running kit.

When I had one, the GP just tied a bit of thread tightly around it and it withered and dropped off in a week or so. Next time I had one, I did it myself!

Mine isn't sticky-out enough to get thread round it.. it's only about 2mm diameter and 1mm raised.. but still drives me mad - a bit like the way a tiny papercut hurts more than a larger knife wound Shock

Could you cover with a big plaster?

badguider · 01/07/2013 22:29

Have put a wee bit micropore tape on it - ah the relief!

ooh i got one of these right at top of my leg, where leg meets arse cheek :( basically it was right in the crease, fucking hurt like a mofo when up and about. plaster wouldnt stay on it but in the end it went away by itself, saved me a trip to gp to have it frozen off. maybe ring your gp and see if they do that.
