The sickness, I mean. I'm not actually being sick, but the constant unrelenting nausea and gagging is really getting to me. I know it's a good sign, but I'm only 7 weeks and the thought of potentially another 6-7 weeks of this is just hideous. I can't function, I can barely stand upright, the only think that even vaguely reduces it is eating to I am going to end up going the way I did with dd and putting on far too much weight.

I CAN'T DO THIS - someone stop it, please!

Ok, the lovely dr gave me cyclizine and I think it's made a difference to the nausea (yay!). However, I have had two tablets and feel a bit weird - jittery and like I may pass out (I won't). Has anyone else had this? Does it pass? Should I stop and ask for a different one?

I totally know where you're coming from!! I had 24/7 nausea plus regular sickness too but not what you'd class as HG. I found that constantly nibbling on something helped (not my waistline!!) like carrs water biscuits or digestives. I also found tonic water a massive help. My sickness went at about 18 weeks and made a slight reappearance at 34 weeks, hang in there it will get better xxx

PLJ (like proper sharp lemon juice that you dilute -- from the squash aisle), made up quite weak and ice cold.

Eating! Peanut butter sandwiches are my current thing. And baked potatoes.

I'm 12+2 and the nausea seems to have abated a bit in the past few days (although previous experience tells me that this is not to be trusted and it may well be back!) and has been replaced by sudden, random urges to gag. These happen for no reason and without warning. It's all so glamorous.

Gotta love the gagging.....yuk.

I've switched drugs to prochlorperazine...and now I'm not sure about taking anything at all?! Help! Cuppa-soups seem to help a bit currently, but I give it a couple more days before I go off those too.

Hatehatehate this sickness!
