Extended breech at 36 weeks

Just after anyone's experience of this. Just back from midwife appt and baby is still extended breech. I have a consultants appt at 38 weeks to check position again and if it hasn't moved will have a c section the week after. I can't attempt vaginally as had an assisted delivery last time and mw said ecv unlikely to work because its extended (and I don't want one anyway). What's the chances of baby turning now? She implied that this particular breech position means its less likely...is that true?

Hiya. my dd was extended breech and i went into labour at 37 weeks and had to have an emc.
Earlier i had had an unsuccessful ecv which was take your breath away uncomfortable. i'd done everything to turn her- went on 'spinning babies' website and followed the instructions- lying on an ironing board upside down off the bed, and also head down off the side of the bed, bouncing on the bouncy ball, even playing music down my pants in case her curiosity made her turn. She was well and truly wedged. It was something to pass the time though!

Playing music in your pants made me laugh! I've tried a few things but its not shifted yet. I think its unlikely ill go into labour any time soon as dc1 didnt appear until 42 weeks, so lots of time for it to turn...
