Just found out I'm pg Grin. I have an interview next week for a pt job with a year long contract. Do I need to tell them?

Congratulations. Legally no you don't have to but you need to think about where you'd be better off if you're currently employed.

I'm in the same position applying for jobs. I'm going to tell prospective employers out of courtesy. I wouldn't like them to think I hid it from them to get the job. But at the same time I wonder if they might favour non-pregnant interviewees even though they're not supposed to for that sole reason. Difficult!

If you're still quite early on though, I wouldn't say anything yet. Not until atleast 12-14 weeks when it's a bit more obvious!

Currently unemployed on job seekers.
I was planning on doing a uni course in the autumn, but I'm debating deferring it. I sort had things planning and this has knocked things for a loop. But in an exciting good way Grin.

I recommend you defer for a year so you have no interruptions! I just completed my degree and found it really hard the last few months being pregnant! Didn't have the energy/drive/mental capacity (pregnancy brain!!) whilst feeling sick and tired. Good luck for the job and when you do start your course :)
