i am 5 weeks pregnant and so far i have not had any typical pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness, just a mild back pain and feel sleepy all day long. Today when I went to pick my laptop from a repair shop , the guy there had ripped my laptop to pieces and not fixed it, even though i was specifically told this morning that it will be done, to top it all he was mean to me... after having a lukewarm argument with him i left his shop and to my surprise i started crying Shock.... this is so unlike me... i come across a lot of mean clients in my job and i have never cried on such things... is this 'coz i am pregnant... anyone else out there had a similar experience... misery love company Smile

(hugs) yup... well - for me at times throughout the past 35 weeks, yep - it's sometimes not taken a great deal at all to set me off into tears.

This was me yesterday when I couldn't have any of the nice cakes in costa coffee due to my gestational diabetes. The whole world is against me I tell you.

Tulipsandbuttercups · 10/06/2013 19:48

I am 10+2. I have noticed that I am very short tempered, literally biting people's heads off at really stupid things, which is very unlike me as I am quite a chilled person.

Luckily my husband is very understanding! x

I'm 5 weeks pregnant too and cried today because DD (who is 2) told me she wanted to water the flowers in her garden, to make them pretty. I'm most definitely not this emotional normally Shock

mustardtomango · 11/06/2013 18:05

Ooh yes, yesterday felt tears rolling as i listened to that lasts night of the proms piece... Something about the pride of it all. Can read the papers fine though! Shock stories and all. Quite strange...

chryssa · 11/06/2013 20:31

I'm a total (hormone) wreck too! Cry for nothing and quite aggressive with poor DH! Must be normal? Wink

Lj8893 · 11/06/2013 21:27

Totally normal!!!

I tear up at everything and have a good cry whenever I feel like I want to!

Shellywelly1973 · 12/06/2013 10:53

I cry at everything when Im pregnant. I was dropping dc to school this morning & a little boy was stressed & running to get into class on time...i had tears rolling down my face!

Skinnydecafflatte · 12/06/2013 11:15

I had a cry a few weeks ago listening to a Queen song, I said it was such a shame that Freddie Mercury had died cos he has such a great voice, then broke down into sobs. He's been dead 21 years!!! My DH offered to change the cd to something else then suggested Eva Cassidy, to which I sobbed 'oh no, she's dead too'! I was about 26 weeks at that point so it can hit at any time.

Last pregnancy I broke down when McDonald's were not selling vanilla milk shakes due to some other flavour promotion! Honestly the world is against pregnant people sometimes!

The important thing is to look back and laugh Grin

Skinnydecafflatte · 12/06/2013 11:16

Oh yes just remembered, just hearing a brass band on Saturday set me off. No idea why?!

lauracutee · 12/06/2013 12:19

Yep - I started crying last week when Tesco messed up my delivery cos I needed my falafels and nectarines.

Thanks Champagnebubble... good to know I am not the only one... haven't cried since then Smile... DH called the mean-computer-guy and asked him not to call me any more and work with him directly... it is going to be tough 9 months .... another thing I noticed that I am on the edge all the time, yesterday when I was preparing dinner a spoon fell in the sink and make that clunky noise and my heart pounced... first time this has ever happened

@shellywelly1973 aww that would have made me teary-eyed too...
last week at the breakfast news show they were telling stories about lost teddy bears and one story was about a little girl who lost her teddy bear and then her father took her to the police station and all the officers played along to make her feel good... I had tears rolling down at 7:30 in the morning

@champagnebubble that makes sense, exhaustion seems like the reason... I am exhausted all day long... luckily i have the option to work from home, i wonder how much more tiring will it be to travel for work...earlier this year i was thinking about changing jobs , but now that i am preg.. i have started appreciating my current job again Smile
