I have had my period for the two years Ive been on the implanon. (I get it removed next March.) This morning I had some pink on the toilet paper, now its brownish. Its not a lot, but I do have a two year old and the same thing happened when I got pregnant with him. I've take 3 pregnancy test today, all negative. With my last pregnancy, I took 6 that were negative before I got a Positive. Please help!

When I had the implant, I did not have periods for a long time but by the time I had it removed I was back on a monthly period. Keep testing if you are worried but I don't think it sounds unusual based on my experience.

I get that with implanon, no periods for a year or so then very very light one then another very light one in a few weeks time, then nothing for months. Mines due out next year too.

I used to have the implanon and i had no periods atall for a whole year so i wouldn't worry tbh. I found implanon really messed with my mind, i always though i was pregnant as i had nausea but of course that was the hormones playing tricks on me. I also found it made me completely lose my libido and i put 2st in weight on.
Hated it and couldn't wait to have it removed, as soon as i did my 'symptoms' went and back came my libido! Horrid thing

I'm still scared though because I've read some stories on here of people getting pregnant on it. I don't feel very well and I call the hospital and they said my periods should go back to normal close to the end of the implanon, but I still have 9 more months...

There was a problem with the design of the implant device I was once told by a GP. It was originally constructed so that the 'implant' itself was not secured in the fitting device and pregnancies are though to have occurred where it has fallen out unnoticed during the fitting procedure (when the device was lifted at a certain angle it tipped out!)
