So I don't really know a lot and just looking for some / any advice really.
Majorly confused about what you can / can't eat midwife has told me eggs are fine as long as not raw and pâté is fine as long as its from a sealed packet but if I am unsure to go by the book from the bounty pack, this tells me I can't eat eggs unless yolk and white are hard (I really like boiled eggs with runny yolk) so I have no idea, also after looking on here I have seen people are avoiding squash? Really?!
Please help...

Hi Smiidge, I'm pregnant with DS 2 and the advise changes constantly DS 1 is only 2.

It's a case of being sensible really.

Avoid pâté, ice cream out of a machine, Marlin, shark and food which has been reheated but not piping hot. Goats cheese and soft cheeses like brie etc. Philly etc is fine.

Cut down on caffeine drinks, even better switch to decaf if you like your tea/coffee. One or two cups a day is fine tho.

Eggs are fine, If you like a runny yoke go for the lion stamped ones.
Stilton is now ok too eat.
Avoid foods off the deli counter, just buy Pre packed meats/ham etc.

Seafood is fine as long as its cooked.

Squash, well ive seen that thread and I think it's a bit ott, I drink loads.

Hope that helps!

Pâté is not a hygiene issue, it's the high levels of vitamin A in liver.

I miss pâté most of all.

Oh and meat ...advise is a bit varied on this but I eat it well cooked (ie steak) but some people say as long as the outside is seared its fine.
