Am ready to remove my whole respiratory system with a spoon if necessary!

Does anyone know for sure if Beconase is safe in pregnancy?

Spoke to my doctor about hayfever and she said use a nose spray and Piriton as a last resort.

But then I went to the pharmacy to buy these products and the pharmacist said she couldn't sell me anything in pregnancy apart from a saline spray!

My hayfever is killing me and I don't think salt water is going to cut it so can anyone advise?!

My doc let me use beconase and I managed on 1/2 dosage both times its fine (and both breast fed DS have slight hayfever)

The hospital prescribed Piriton to me at 36 weeks' pregnant and the midwife told me that it was also fine prior to the prescription.

Are you not even allowed to buy hayfever tablets for somebody else when pregnant? Say they're not for you!

Yes I made the mistake of saying it was for me and was turned away! :-(

I'm in the US and my OBGYN told me to take Clarityn one-a-day.

I'll take her advice over the Boots pharmacist.

I have been prescribed loratidine (clarityn) by my GP.

I take cetrizine based ones, haven't got "permission" from GP/MW but read the guidance on the NHS website and made an informed choice.
