It's worth getting it checked out - it can come on quite quickly I believe, so just because things were ok yesterday doesn't mean they are today!
I had no real symptoms when I was 39 weeks with ds1 but had 3+ of protein in my pee at my doctor's Appt. I asked if it was pre eclampsia, he said no and to come back next week. I happened to speak to my aunt the next day about something completely different but as she's a specialist in the field I mentioned it in passing and she was horrified.
If I'd listened to the other doctor and gone back in a week I could have been incredibly ill or worse as could ds1. She actually took me into the hospital she works at and ran the tests herself at 11 at night because she was so worried - I did have PE, was admitted there and then and ds was induced the next day.
She couldn't believe that the doc I had seen hadn't done any further tests - and she made the complaint on my behalf; I was happy to let her as coming from her it had much more weight and she knows the consultants at the other hospital well so knew exactly who to speak to and what to say.
Which is all a long winded way of saying, as she told me, they would much rather double check when there are any symptoms as it's easy to do and they would prefer to check and see you are ok than risk you being really ill
(and sorry if this repeats what lots of people have said - just discovered this didn't post on my phone when I typed it this morning and you'd only had a couple of replies but I don't want to check and risk losing it all!)
