Vitamins without iron or easy to digest

I've just found out that I'm pregnant again, third time in a year so hoping for a better ending this time. Every time I've been pregnant before (2 children and 2 mc) I've struggled to take prenatals vitamins as they make.me constipated. I've tried pregnacare and boots own brand and had to stop taking them.

Can anyone suggest some that are easy to digest or without iron?

I'd like to know too - same problem. The difficulty I came up against in Boots when I looked was that I don't think pregnant women are meant to take vitamin A supplements, but all 'normal' multivitamins have vitamin A in them.

I've been taking Berocca while ttc, they don't contain vit A or iron but I would prefer to take prenatal ones - trying to do everything I can to keep hold of this baby Sad

Ask your gp about Healthy Start vitamins. I'm on them and they're great :) I think Lloyds chemist sells them but if you're in England I have no idea.

you can get the sparate important vits (d, folate) in health food stores or chemists. for the iron you can try liquid formulations which can be easier on your stomach.

Well that posted twice. Sorry!

I'll ask my midwife about the nhs vitamins, otherwise I'll keep taking folic acid, vit d and spatone for now. x
