Reduced movement - 28 weeks

I have felt some movement today but over the last 2-3 days the movement is nowhere near has strong as it was a copper weeks ago.

I have felt movement toda and seen the bump move, so that's reassuring but wondering why the movement is less strong and frequent? Could baby have moved position and that's why I'm feeling less movement?

My placenta is high anterior - not sure if that means anything.

Have my 28 week midwife appointment tomorrow so hopefully will be more reassured then.

Slightly nervous.

fanjo and lunatic what an awful thing to go through, my deepest sympathes to you both, you must be incredibly brave to have survived such a horrible thing.

I'm even more determined now to be more aware and cautious and not put dc2 at any risk just because i'm "not sure" and don't want to bother anyone.

if I get a horrible midwife like before i will report her for being so irresponsbile...i wish I made more of a fuss last time and not let her call me a silly girl for wasting their time. she muttered it a few more times as well, and then shoved the CTG thing under my nose and went "see! baby's fine!" . I was like 32/33 weeks pregnant at the time as wlel, so wasn't like I walked in at 14 weeks complaining i couldn't feel anything.

anyway i digress.

thank you all for being so kind and supportive.

That's disgusting how you were treated OP. it's such a shame, the majority of MW are lovely, but there's always one isn't there? I had the "one" after dd's birth. Her way of getting dd to bf was to grab my boob & stuff it in her mouth (post CS, dd was groggy from the anaesthetic & too small to latch on properly anyway). Sorry, slight tangent there..

Glad you're ok, but yes definately get it checked out if you're concerned again.
