I have just had a great big sob after watching the semi final of the Great British Bake off. Big tears and gasping for breath. Then half way through I started laughing at the stupidity of it all but the tears kept running. I'm not an overly emotional person. I get hormonal just before my period and normally get angry over things, not tearful. I can't believe I just cried over a baking programme! Never experienced this before in any of my other two pregnancies!

I sobbed my heart out at Britain's got talent last weekend @ Attraction performing their shadow act!

It was amazing! And very moving I loved it.

Generally I cry at anything, if I come home to DH doing all of the house work I shed a tear

DS made me a pic of our family at nursery last week, I burst out crying at the nursery as I was so proud no one knows I'm preg so I'm guessing they were concerned lol

When I first found out I was pregnant, it was too early to tell anyone, and I was doing some Xmas shopping. I was walking about the shopping centre when Cliff Richards 'When a child is born' came on. It's a bloody awful song, but it set me right off - god knows what the other shoppers though (this is in germany too...), wandering about half laughing and crying. I looked proper mental.

Yesterday I thought somebody had taken my shopping trolly when I went to get something - I walked about for 20 minutes back and forth looking for it, getting really worked up and convinced someone had 'stolen' it to take my re-uasble shopping bags. I even went to the checkouts to see and marched about eyeing up everyones trollys. And when i finally found it, where I had left it, I burst into floods of tears... Blush

I'm feeling less emotional now, so am seeing the humour in most of these stories apart from the baby elephant! I watched that documentary in a non-pregnant state and still cried :(

at the murderer getting arrested. How could they?!

I once cried because DH bought salami in the supermarket even though he knew I couldn't eat it. They were tears of pure rage. I told my Mum about him Blush.

I also, at about eight months, cried because toddler ds popped his balloon and had a momentary look of shock on his face. The tragedy of it!

I cried at the Admiral multi car discount TV ad Blush. That poor russain doll family just wanted to save money and without thinking twice leapt into the Admiral doll, yet when he came apart you couldn't see them anymore! He spirited them away, I wept at the thought of all those happy dolls naiively leaping into him thinking it was going to be a good experience only to have god knows what happen to them!! Dp hasn't let me forget this.

A car park space in Waitrose that some twat in a 4x4 nipped into when it was quite obvious that I was about to park in it.

His nose in the air attitude whilst ignoring me ranting at him really got to me and I sobbed round Waitrose.

When he turne up having treasured his last soggy melted rolo for 6 hours driving and gave it to me.....I swear I was literally inconsolable!! It took me so long to stop sobbing, and it just happens to be in front if about 20 people!!!

Pregnant first time round and I had to pull the car over as I spotted a lovely horse in a field and it made me cry so much I couldn't see the road.

The horse wasn't doing owt, just being a horse in a field. I must have passed it in about 3 seconds. I can take or leave horses generally.

At about 6 months pg I ran over a pigeon on the motorway as I was driving into work (stupid thing landed in the lane in front of me, too much traffic for me to move). Checked my car when I got to the office and the dead pigeon was stuck in my grill! I got into the office and started sobbing my heart out, my poor (male) boss didn't know what to do! Two very kind colleagues went and removed it for me, there's no way I'd have been able to do it myself!

When newly pregnant I cried big, shuddering, snotty sobs in the middle of Adsa because they didn't have any lemon barley water and it was the only thing I wanted and nobody cared.

Now at 33 weeks I have cried today because a group I run for elderly people crocheted me a baby blanket... And I'm supposed to look after them. I cried yesterday because DH bought me alcohol free lager and it was so kind of him. I cried last weekend because I heard Karen Carpenter singing 'Sad Guitar' and I started imaging what I would do if unborn baby had an eating disorder.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to be watching 'Up' with a small friend. I really don't see how I will cope!

Oh my gosh ladies! I'm half laughing, half crying here at your stories. Dreaming you had me in fits of laughter but could imagine myself doing the exact same thing! And queene, your sheep story really set me off - eyes were watering in seconds!

So far, I cried when I spilt a bowl of soup on the kitchen floor. I was carrying it to the worktop and let it down before I'd even reached it! I think the sobbing was more because of the disbelief that I'd done something so stupid so how am I going to be able to look after a baby?!

Also, a few weeks ago when I had bad nausea, the only thing I could stomach one day was cheese. Before I knew it, I had eaten a whole block and I felt so guilty about it that it started me off.

Then the following week, we were driving through quite heavy snow and no-one who came towards me would stop or back-up so I kept having to reverse (in quite treacherous conditions). When we finally came to a clearing I had to pull over and just started crying and laughing hysterically. My DH didn't know what to do!

I'm 9 weeks and these are all making me sob like mad. I remember when I was in my early 20s and had to see occupational health to signed off work - I had a series of about 5 deaths in my family, including my father, and I was explaining this all very calmly to the occ health lady - she was about 8 months pregnant and started crying inconsolably because she felt to sorry for me - I ended up comforting her!. My dog has just made me sob more because he is worried about the sobbing and was trying to lick my tears away [endless sobbing loop]

Libriana don't do it! Before I was pregnant, I started watching Up on a plane. After the first 5 mins (you know the part I mean) I had to switch it off. 6 months later, I managed to watch it at home with DH but was inconsolable, as was DH...
