Hi

I am 6 weeks and 5 days and for the last few hours I have been suffering from sharp stabbing pains in my lower right hand side abdomen and hip.

Has anyone else had this?

What could it be?

I'm so scared that I could be losing our baby!! X

Not long now then, it's so stressy but a bit of blood as I'm sure you know can be quite common & nothing sinister. Let us know how you fare, in the mean time another bucket of luck your way. xx

Just checking back & yey!! Great news! No explanation about the pain though? Did they rule out a cyst? But who cares as long as everything is as it should be!

Aah and breathe! Enjoy your relaxing day and the knowledge that all is well x

Yeah they checked for cysts but there was none there saundy.
They said I may have one that burst and that's why I had the pain but as long as everything is ok with the baby that's all that matters to me to be honest.
Thank u again for ur support it really means a lot xxx

Reading this thread with interest...Good luck, I hope you'll be ok.
I've been having abdominal pains too on my lower right hand side abdomen and hip, been to gp about it, but no further action yet... I have a feeling I may be pregnant (will test next week) as I think I had implantation bleeding/pains two weeks ago. We weren't trying as I've been having recurrent miscarriages so waiting to see a specialist end of May for that and we decided to have a break until then,.. but who knows... I am also terrified of finding that there are any other problems so I guess the anxiety as well the pains and the "not knowing" are just playing on my mind all the time...

Hey franimal,
I hope u get the result u are after.
We weren't trying when we found out I was pregnant. We had agreed to wait a year because I was having treatment for cysts on my ovaries so we thought we would wait and have one last 'coupley holiday' and then start trying again!! But two weeks after having that talk I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant lol.
I have found with most of my friends as well it has been when we not trying that we fall pregnant!!
Keep us informed of what the doc says! And good luck with ur treatment and hopefully u will get the positive test u want xxx
