Pregnant with DC2 and still not feeling any movements. Felt fluttery movements with DC1 when i was around 16 weeks. Is this normal?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had the same with both of mine. I and an anterior placenta with both, probably you do too? Makes movements harder to feel.

SheepNoisesOff · 16/03/2013 13:23

and = had, sorry.

I had an anterior placenta too and did not feel movements until about 22 weeks. At 29 weeks I went for monitoring as I hadn't felt baby move for a while. In the hospital they had to chase the monitor around my tummy as ds was moving so much but I couldn't feel any of it!

I suspected ap at about 16 weeks-ish and it was confirmed at my 20w scan.

I had an anterior with DC1 perhaps it's the same this time again.

hi i'm 18+ 4 and only very occasionally feel a little pop but not enough to reassure me baby is ok. (i worry a lot!) i felt movement with my lg from 14 weeks but placenta was at the top whereas this time placenta is at the front xx

Def didn't feel anything as only found out I was preg at 18 weeks, felt movements around 22/23 and he hasn't stopped since xx

Longfufu · 18/03/2013 13:02

I'm 19 weeks pregnant with DC2, not felt anything...don't worry. My SIL has 3 she felt every child at a different time, last one was at 23 weeks.

StuckOnARollercoaster · 18/03/2013 13:10

Only started feeling anything at 23 weeks, definite kicks and movements only really at 26 weeks...
Try not to worry (easier said than done) - maybe if its a long way off from any appointments you can talk to your midwife and you may be able to go in so they can try a Doppler or something to reassure you?
