Baby is back to back and there is no sign of anything happening soon (think I will be late) have found my gym ball up the attic so what am i to do with it?

Is it supposed to help get the baby in the right position? How long do you bounce on it for?

Sit on it for at least an hour a day. The longer you can sit on it the more chance you have of baby turning to OA. So when you watch TV,etc sit on it rather than the sofa. You don't have to bounce.

Agree with Viva - the 'bouncing' is not necessary. If you move on it, try rotating your hips around in generous circles. This encourages the baby's head to engage and gently widen the cervix, whilst relaxing your hips. Bouncing like you're on a spacehopper...well, you can imagine the head/cervix action....

Try doing some nice deep breaths, feet flat on the floor, arms relaxed by your sides, hips rotating. I think it's really calming for you and your impending arrival.

I'm on mine right now! Am 34 weeks and have been told that baby might be breach (there's a sizeable lump by my belly button that could be head or arse!). I've spent a couple of hours on it and the lump has shifted! Just going to keep going with it a couple of hours a day.

Sit on it as often as possible with feet flat on the floor, move your hips in big circles, rock back and forth, do figures of eight. Also kneel facing the ball with your upper body on it, doing circles and rocking that way. Anything to encourage the weight of the baby towards your stomach will help turn it. If you sit leaning back or slouched on the sofa, the baby will more likely be back to back.
I remember doing this a few months ago, realised what a slouchy person I am and really had to change my habits to get the baby in a good position. It worked well though :)

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. I was told to either get on all fours or kneel over my ball as much as possible. I did this and she bucked her ideas up and turned back down.

Hope you can persuade bubba to behave!

Thanks everyone, unfortunately my toddler has taken a shine to it but every night she is in bed I will be on it

Im currently on mine now after moving my ass of the sofa. I just move round in circles or lightly bounce. Its actually very comfortable.

It also makes a grear footstool when I make it back on the settee ha

Good luck

bluemonkey. Same in my house. My DS's eyes nearly popped out when I first blew it up. It's now 'his' ball! I think it might be sticking around after the birth!
