That's it really. I am sure I had this with DD1 (it's my aunt's farm and This baby is due practically on DD's due date... But I can't for the life of me remember the risks or what I can't do/touch.

Is it that it has to be actual contact with the afterbirth of a still born lamb for there to be a risk? Presumably I'm ok just going to the farm, not touching or bring involved in the lambing and being v careful about hand washing?

Is the risk miscarriage, or is it also deformities or still birth?

Thanks!

Just dont touch anything in the lambing/ewe barn and you'll be fine.thats what i was told last week when i too ds to a farm and.one of there ewes had given.birth that.night before

Thanks all. Told my aunt (the farmer) and, as the farm is open to the public anyway (big farm shop and cafe etc), she is v up to speed on it all. All lambing ewes are moved to a separate barn, not open to public, and there are literally hazard signs saying "if you are pregnant / STOP"! Also, so far so good and we've had no still births or infected sheep, so risk is v low.
