Restless Legs

I'm 32 weeks and it's driving me crazy!

What can I do? Currently pacing the front room and after an average of three hours sleep a night for the past week I could really do with a decent nights sleep. I've still got another 5 weeks in work and need to function

I've tried eating boat loads of bananas, resting my legs on the headboard and massaging my calfs but nothing seems to help. I think I've got it in my arm tonight as well.

Any suggestions?

I get this when I haven't drunk enough. My problem is I don't always feel particularly dehydrated so end up not drinking enough during the day unless i feel really really thirsty. Then at night I get the restless legs and raging thirst thru the night. When I make a conscious effort to drink more during the day it definitely seems to help prevent the restless leg problem. I noticed it before i got pregnant too but being pg has definitely exaggerated the problem.

Try taking spatone. It's an iron supplement. Or eat liquorice also high in iron.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will try drinking more, I also had it occasionally before being pregnant. I'm already on iron tablets.

Eugh the tablets are vile aren't they. I have ibs and they made it worse so I had to have the liquid.

They sure are and they have made me massively constipated to boot. Oh the joys

Drove me mad! Apparently it's linked to magnesium levels too and I found supplement helped.
