Legs going numb while sleeping

Im 29 weeks now and the last couple of nights my thighs have gone numb and woken me up and the only way I can relieve the pain/weird sensation/cramping is by sitting upright - then I can't sleep. It feels like someone has been repeatidly punching me in the leg Confused. I thought the first night it happened that I might have been a bit dehydrated but that doesn't seem to be it. Has anyone had experiences of this and found anything that's helped? Thanks!

Got this from fourteen weeks now thighs are in competition with arms to see which can be the numbest. No answers I'm afraid. I figure it might just be one of those things, although I'd love to hear if anyone does have a solution.

I have been getting this too at 28 weeks. I found out on the net that cramping can be due to lack of calcium or potassium. So I have increased my dairy and banana intake and it has improved.

Oh no runswithsquirrels ! At least I have an arm with feeling so I can move, poor you.

Hi paradisefound thanks for the tip, I will try -although I'm already eating lots of bananas, perhaps I will try adding more dairy - any excuse to eat more cheese Grin
