Hi all
I'm starting to feel uncomfortable when trying to sleep now at 30 weeks, I go from left side, back, to right side and end up aching all round. Do u have any tips or advice on what may have helped you, I've got a maternity pillow, but hasn't helped at all! Thank u x

No advice just lots of sympathy!

I'm 32 weeks and its hell :( I joked to dh that he should put a metal loop on the wall nearest to bed with a heavy duty rope for me to pull on just to turn over ... A poorly toddler climbing into our bed each night is certainly not helping Hmm

I feel your pain, Im 36+4 and my hips are in agony today from sleeping on my sides. A body-length pillow does help for some of the time - make sure you put it between your knees AND your ankles.
In desperation I've also slept propped up with pillows, with the long pillow underneath my knees. It's not that comfy, but it is at least another position to try. Hope things improve for you.

I second the body length pillow, it has really helped to evenly distribute my weight. I've also put a duvet on top of my mattress underneath the sheet to soften up my bed a bit.

More pillows might help, I've got 5 at current count, including a pregnancy one. I still don't sleep brilliantly, however it's better than it was.

37 weeks and feeling your pain, I have a full body pillow which did help but now its more of a nuscience, actually last night I bit the bullet and moved upstairs into the spare room and slept on a softer mattress, with a duvet ontop as a topper, with two cushions propping my huge bump and my back.
I awoke (after going to the toilet a miillion times) spread eagled in the middle of the bed and felt great. I had actually slept a whole lot better than I have for weeks!!!!!,
I was reluctant to sleep on my own but felt it would be better for my other half who is needing his sleep for work. Plus it is starting to grate on me watching him sleep and slightly hating him for it.

I also advise snoozes on the sofa propped up during the day if you feel like it, I used tgo always hate daytime sleeping and would wake up feeling awlful but now they actually do good and are relaxing.

I have a closed rectangular sleeping bag under my sheet after someone recommended a duvet under there and it's made the word of difference.
