Maternity bras size advice

This may be an impossible question to answer - but figured its worth a try...

I have just ordered two underwired maternity bras following on from another thread - they are an Anita nursing bra and Amoralia cupcake undwerwired nursing bra.
They are both pretty perfect and am tempted to keep them both - thing is I really can't remember how much more expansion to expect during pregnancy and early days of nursing.
Do you think it is realistic to allow for that and buy something that's a little too big for now to factor in extra growth.. Or better to have perfect fit and good support now but accepting I may need to buy again?
Am being a little cautious as a) quite expensive if I keep both and b) I guess as underwired I don't want to risk them being too small.

Many thanks if anyone has any experience to share!

Your cup size may not change all that much (after the initial massive expansion) but your ribcage will expand so you might be able to get away with a bra band expander (can usually get them in the haberdashery dept of a department store or online) that will do you for while you're pregnant.

Thanks both - I know it is probably different for all of us - so will perhaps have to keep them and just hope I get a reasonable amount of wear from them.
I don't recall continued expansion throughout pregnancy last time - and do have a few of the type you mention from last time twitchytail that will probably be the most comfortable in first few weeks of BF anyway.

I guess my only other thought now is if I upped the band size and not the cup would that create room for growth in rib cage - or ruin whole fit of bra..
As you might be able to tell bought these online so not keen to try too many sizes out..
